ACGA NSW announces Athlete Grant Winners

The Australian Commonwealth Games Association (NSW Division) has just announced the inaugural twelve recipients of the new ACGA NSW Athlete Grant Program. All twelve outstanding athletes will be awarded $1,000 each courtesy of ACGA NSW and program partner First Option Credit Union.

Each athlete was nominated by a sport on the program for the next Commonwealth Games being held on the Gold Coast in 2018. Nominating criteria required each athlete to be a resident of NSW and under 20 years of age. Congratulations to the following athletes:

ACGA NSW CEO Peter Tate said “These young athletes have demonstrated tremendous ability in their respective sport pathways. I’m confident some will be chosen to represent Australia on the Gold Coast in 2018 and hopefully all will progress to that level at future Commonwealth Games”.
